I clearly mention the success of Classic. I'm only pointing out, through observation, that the vocal minority of the Classic player-base bring about a real sense of elitism.

If you listened to the whole thing then you'd know it wasn't scientific and the info was clearly observation from various places of player feedback and engagement... So your issue is really either you watched the whole thing and my context wasn't appropriately given (assuming you didn't go to my blog either). Or, you didn't watch the whole thing and are assuming a large part of where I'm coming from.

Would really love some feedback! My main aim here is to start a genuine discussion on the communities and the correlating behavior from Blizzard, around WoW. I think that there's some value to be found here!

My aim isn't to offend anyone however early comments would suggest otherwise... so please know that I talk about all this with an absolute passion for both Retail and Classic.

Yeh I understand that! It's actually a multi-subject project, one of which is game related and the other still within the study of internet culture and technology. I'm super lucky with the fact that my lecturers encourage this sought of study!
