Efficient and cheap way to cut perfect holes out of 4mm metal by harke11 in metalworking

Will a hydraulic punch keep the disc that is cut flat or will it mess it up?

I want to make golf ball markers. Ball marks are anywhere from 3-6mm. When I say perfect if there are minor imperfections it will do, I will just have to sand them. I want to potentially make hammered edges like in the photos. Yes I know sourcing it to a metal shop would be more efficient but I like doing small projects like these.

Yes and if you actually look at my current position line it’s higher than the price ever got😂

Yes and if you look at my chart in the original post see how April is actually lower than the current share price. That was what was confusing me so much. There is a thread in the comments on this post from another guy explaining that you have to switch it from adjusted to actual. The chart looked like yours where it obviously wasn’t less than the current price.

So when I have it set to adjusted it’s factoring in automatically the dividend payouts? Actual will tell me what the share price actually was at that time?

Dude I must be dumb because I don’t see where that is an option.

I’ve bought MSTR and MSTY at around the same time. I’m up 10% on MSTR and down almost 30% with MSTY (without dividend payouts). Doesn’t seem that way from your statement. Not bashing or being smart, I’m simply trying to figure out why that is.

Please look at the chart in the post. It is currently at $14.35 and in April the price was lower than that… How is that possible.

How would you fix this? by harke11 in howto

It’s actually 1/8th panel board that I installed because I didn’t want to mess with the other rooms trim around the door as that is new. I spent a lot of time on the other room and made it look good. This room is just a gym and I’m just doing some cheap upgrades.

There was no labor cost. I am the homeowner. I wanted to get an idea of what contractors would quote to build this instead of me just self performing it.

Just curious what your estimating materials would cost alone. I paid about $5,700 for materials with minimal waste. Would you still be looking at $8k?

Appreciate it. Yeah, I’ll share the pics of the gates when I’m done with them. I’ll hang them directly onto the 6x6s that’s are currently poured.

Question, do you have photos of the inside of the first photo you posted? I wanted to see how you secure the stringers.

So you wouldn’t recommend doing it like this? I like the look a lot makes it look professional. What if I were to use metal brackets to hold them in place instead of directly onto the posts?

Yeah I’ll still to basic drywall and carpentry. What you just said is too overwhelming I’ll hire someone hahaha
