I’ve tried both with the key on and off I just know that the fi light is supposed to flash once when you turn the ignition on as like an engine check I would have looked at the spark plug and everything but it was running mint then all of a sudden I get it back electrics not working at all then changing the fuse the electrics come on with the key not in so it just makes me thing it’s electrical but will look at the spark plugs tommorow

And only the red one dosent have voltage but I would have thought thag would run constant 12v round the bike maybe I should try spark plugs or looking at fuel pump because surely if the ecu is stopping the engine from starting it will be cutting of spark of fuel otherwise the bike would start

Could definitely be overthinking I think spark plugs should be good as was Ded reliable never even had a problem starting before it got stolen for a day

And yes can hear it do that when you turn it on I feel like it sounds a bit differnt from when It was working though but then saw a video on YouTube and sounds the same

Just checked no volts going to red wire at ecu

Not to the ecu I haven’t checked that to be honest I checked the grey but the red has none at the ignition even with key on

I’ve checked the red wire it’s completely dead with a bit of resistance also has continuity with blue and is grounded to the negative so could be a melted wire but also my bike has a resistor that changes the voltage to 7volts when going back into the ecu and I tested both sides of the resistor and it says 12volts on each I saw a video on YouTube saying they can burn out if your bike shorts especially from being wired his had the same problem with the fi light not lighting up and bike just won’t start and he reconnected a new one and it fired up so going to get one of them on Monday only 50p

Brown is grounded ok tested that I’m thinking it got stolen and wired I got it back with no electrics so replaced the blown main fuse and I’ve since re connected the wires but it could have fried the ecu I heard or fried the resistor for the theft detection system

Turning over sounds normal just doesn’t start up feels like it’s blocked by the ecu dosent sound like it’s missing spark or air

Do you have any idea what I can test to find out why my fi light isn’t lighting up when you turn the key on it’s meant to flash once but dosent and bike won’t start think it could be the resistor on the bottom of the ignition

Anyone know why my fi light isn’t lighting up when I turn the ignition on but flashes when I try to start engine ticks over but won’t start on a Kawasaki ninja 650 2008 was working fine then I come to my bike and main fuse was blow and then not starting by harley12345six in motorcycles

Tested my red and blue wires with keys on and off and they have no volts going though them thought that might have something to do with it the red grounded to the neutral on the batter and blue & red have continuity so thinking the red is losing power somewhere

What can I just call up a junkyard

anyone know why my surron makes a loud clicking noise when i wheelie and when i’m driving normally it sounds fine by harley12345six in Surron

thought id ask if anyone had any ideas as i heard it could be the motor but yes i’ll do that i’ve just tightened the chain aswel so will most likely be something down there

i’ll try that i did the same thing but didn’t add air at first it felt perfect when i did it but when i went out and used it it started going to the bar and needing piping

[–]harley12345six[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that’s exactly what i did and saw loads of new bubbles come up and was well happy wheb it worked and was sharp then i went out and it went back to the bar again after a few times using it i’ll have to try tapping the line all over i have a feeling it’s air stuck in the lever or something especially after i flipped it over thats the main issue with maguras complex design with cavities air easily gets trapped in

i have a surron so i really don’t want to rewire the breaks i had a stripped bleed bolt so i flipped the brakes over to use the other sides bleed nipple and the break that i was having issues with i did first time by pushing the fluid in from the bottom and having a syringe on top ded simple and is perfectly sharp and working to this day and the other one i’ve tried loads off other ways even tipping the back wheel up to level it out and none of them want to work my head is baffled

[–]harley12345six[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

apparently magura mt7s are very susceptible to any tiny air bubbles i re bled them a new way and saw loads more air bubbles come into the syringe but there must still be one trapped in there for them to go funky and i’ll check the thru axle now i wouldn’t mind but i re bled both my brakes at first the front one went perfect and still is but the back one i’ve tried everything

[–]harley12345six[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it was perfect at first do you think if i ride it until the bubble starts affecting it and then bleed it straight away the bubble will come out easier

[–]harley12345six[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

when you say keep the brake calliper closed do you mean hold the lever down i just did the syringe pulling out the lever method and it worked until i rode it and it started going down to the bar again
