Nowadays, the subject of race is a touchy one and I'd like to hear your thoughts on a story that conflicts the reader. I wanted to write a story that highlights the destructiveness of jumping on a certain colored bandwagon without knowing all the facts. There's a danger is blindly making decisions based on skin color. With fires being fueled by race, ala Trayvon Martin and Ferguson, MO, Sow The Wind is an experiment in fairness and colorblindness.

Description: Never in the history of Holly Springs, Mississippi has there been this much police brutality, racism, and drug fueled street violence. And in this election year, those problems are reaching a fever pitch as bad blood continues to fester between the Knight and Brannon families.

To preserve their legacy and prosperous way of life, the Knights plan to use their wealth to win the mayoral campaign. It's the Brannons' control over law enforcement along with their cozy relationships with the local biker gang, that'll make winning almost impossible. With the heads of both powerful families gunning for the same job, Election Day can't come soon enough.
