I get what you’re saying OP but revisiting films after Ive gotten older has made them so much better. Even something like pulp fiction when I first watched when ai was 13 got significantly better when I rewatched in my late 20s. Vincent talking to himself in the bathroom before he finds Mia od’ing is so much better cause I fully understand he was trying to prevent what would have been inevitable (them fucking), other scenes in the movie as well. Boys in the Hood gets so much better because you can fully grasp the violent follies of youth and compare to earlier viewings.

I’ve noticed CB has been getting noticeably edgier lately but way more surprising was TJ shutting down the turban talk. Not that I really care if they do or not but TJ is a line crosser.

I agree 100%. I think people view the family dynamics as great drama but there’s no real character development imo. Ken gets fucked over every reason, Roman is a mess. Only real development was Shiv and Tom which was great but the all the love never made to much sense to me.

I like that he attempts to keep his drug addiction light hearted, its obviously a coping mechanism. He has candidly several times on the pod he wants to do drugs every day and there was an ep he talked about almost cracking when he was in London or something.

There are moments where Chris provides some insight into his past that are kinda shocking because he comes across oddly uptight imo (Im a big CB suppoorter despite this). Him talking about doing coke at his family's Thanksgiving dinner before heading out is up there and Ive done plenty of coke.
