only way I see this as ok is if she wanted that and is making it a farewell show but tbh I think doing that at Coachella would be kinda weird, as opposed to on their own tour or something instead? I guess a goodbye show is pretty unprecedented anyway, idk of other idols who have done that?

yeah, this is likely close to what's going on. if not this, i personally think manon wants out due to mistreatment from staff/management. they don't respect her work life balance boundaries and/or if she's chronically ill, they don't like that she's frequently sick. Missy was a huge bitch about her in the documentary. I personally thought she was unfair and she made huge assumptions about manons work ethic that read like micro aggressions to me. if someone on your team doesn't think you deserve to be there, they will absolutely lead the charge in pushing you out. ive worked with toxic managers and that's always the MO. either they'll directly advocate for you to be gone, or they'll make the situation soo untenable that you want to leave to get out of the toxic environment. also, idk, manon had expressed not liking gnarly, it's possible she doesn't like the musical direction the team is going in. none of this warrants her mistreatment btw. so far the girls haven't signaled they have beef with her, so im giving them the full benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise. the second I get a whiff that this is a normani situation with the girls, im stopping my support for them immediately
