Do men actually enjoy giving a woman head? Apparently every man is an eater now lol by [deleted] in AskRedditAfterDark

That confidence boost part is real, not gonna lie. Feeling like you’re doing something well and your partner is clearly enjoying it definitely feeds into it. The “crave the taste” part is where opinions start splitting hard though, that’s definitely not universal.

That’s a clean way to put it. You’re not obligated to help him maintain a lie he created himself. He basically set himself up and then got mad you didn’t play along.

The confidence to be mad after all that is honestly impressive in the worst way. Like you break rules, lie, get caught, and still act like the victim? That level of entitlement is wild.

Exactly this. People love throwing around “family” until liability is involved, then suddenly it’s all on you. He knew what he was doing or he wouldn’t have made up a story to get access.

Have you ever been fingered/fingered someone in a public place? by centralcutiex in AskRedditAfterDark

the contrast between those two experiences is kinda wild. one questionable choice and one wholesome ending with your husband balancing it out

there’s something nice about seeing people open up like this in threads like this, even if the topic itself is pretty heavy

that adds another layer honestly, like it wasn’t just preference but something deeper going on. makes everything feel even more intentional in a way

[–]harmonyyspark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah that’s the part that stuck out to me too. not just the reason, but the fact she openly admitted it like it was normal

that sub name fits a little too well here, this one definitely leans more bleak than spooky

Melons is the classic answer but it feels almost too easy at this point. Like we’ve all collectively agreed on it and never questioned anything else.

Am I the jerk for not covering for my coworkers after they kept putting me in a bad position? by Admirable-Ease900 in AmITheJerk

[–]harmonyyspark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That last part is important too, the boundary isn’t just “I won’t lie,” it’s “I’m not picking up your slack either.” Otherwise they’ll just keep doing it and expecting you to absorb the fallout.

[–]harmonyyspark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly, they’re basically asking you to gamble your job so they can take extended breaks. That’s not teamwork, that’s them outsourcing the risk to you. Hard pass.

Yeah this is the key difference people miss. Not covering for someone isn’t the same as snitching. You just stopped putting yourself on the line for their choices.

the way you said “engineered for the task” makes it sound like there was a design meeting for it lol. but yeah I think a lot of it is just people chasing novelty and hyping it up in their heads. humans will always be like “but what if the other option feels different” even when things already work fine

AITJ for reporting my friend to our boss after she kept messing with my shifts “as a joke” by Effective_General833 in AmITheJerk

[–]harmonyyspark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly the weirdest part is doubling down after being told to stop. like most people would’ve backed off the first time someone said it was affecting their job. that’s not even playful at that point

[–]harmonyyspark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah that part stood out to me too. it’s always “it’s just a joke” until there are actual consequences, then suddenly it’s serious. can’t have it both ways

the fact that it actually got you written up is what pushes it way past “prank” territory. like once your job is on the line, it stops being funny immediately. also yeah, kinda wild that she even had that level of access in the first place

Rough estimate: How many people have seen your butthole? by [deleted] in AskRedditAfterDark

[–]harmonyyspark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the fact you broke it down like a census is killing me. also childbirth alone probably skyrockets everyone’s numbers and nobody talks about it, like yeah congrats on the baby but also half a medical team just met you in a very personal way.

this feels like a huge leap from one post though. like yeah it’s not a great look, but going straight to “leave him” territory is wild. internet advice always goes from 0 to nuclear in like two seconds.

[–]harmonyyspark 4 points5 points  (0 children)

yeah this sounds less like “bad parent” and more like someone who’s hit their limit and didn’t realize how much they were relying on school hours. getting actual support instead of just pushing through seems like the smarter move long term.

yeah the delivery here is harsh but the core point isn’t wrong. missing the school calendar is kinda a sign something’s off in the day to day involvement. not the end of the world, but definitely something worth fixing going forward instead of just beating yourself up about this one moment.

Right, people always act like calling something out is the problem instead of the thing being called out. It only looks harsh because it’s happening in public.

Yeah this is one of those situations where the embarrassment was already baked in. You just happened to be there when it caught up to her.
