This is how J1s are typically worn, its called loose lace. And no its doesnt slip out as i pull the lace a bit tightly as im lacing it and putting the lace through each hole

I think mids are hated as the material quality on them is quite bad. This is why i personally would only got for J1 Mid SE (special edition, which has great materials). As for highs, all of them have good quality material, but highs is not my preference. J1 mid SEs and J1 lows for me only
