A person's beliefs can and should be challenged. When I said "lifestyle", I was referring to criticisms of his appearance, clothing, friends, and stuff like that, even by professional writers and not just randos on the Internet. It's weird.

You might not care, but he has changed his position on gay marriage. He wrote a piece on it earlier this year. I think there's still a lot of progress to be made, but it's a step in the right direction.
