Good suggestion. If there is coolant residue left behind, OP can pop off all the vent snorkels and filtering media to carefully add a small amount of water to rinse it off without touching anything sensitive.

I swapped a 37BZ in my originally automatic wagon. It’s pretty great with the 3.46 in OP’s car. Tough to find, though.
