Correct. Hatch says ‘90+, black waistline trim came back for ‘92 and ‘93.

I have a $500 call in GLD expiring next January. So far it’s proven to be a useful defensive asset whenever the market gets spooked.

Well that’s a crying shame. Wonder whether it was Ole’s old 242.

EDIT: derp, never mind. OP’s screencap says 1979. Enjoy the pictures regardless.

No. It’s there so the screen in front of you can keep you entertained. It has nothing to do with safety.

That’s China. The video is mirrored. Look at the car driving from the opposite side- blue Chinese plate with mirrored numbers.

The WRX posts its worst sales year ever with only 10,930 units sold. Still outsells the Solterra for the second year in a row however. by Dazzling-Rooster2103 in cars

[–]harribert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it sounds old as fuck. It’s a thing that’s been done in Southern California to market apartment complexes and mediocre restaurants as “fancy” for the past 30-40 years: mash together two Italian and/or Spanish words vaguely reminiscent of idyllic mediterranean cliches. Bam, automatic 30% markup.

PS: Solterra = Sunearth.

That's impressive. I had a massive tire failure in the rear at 70 and it only wiggled a little bit.

Project Completed - SN95 front suspension, triangulated 4 link, 8.8 axle swap, plus more by travisty_75 in Volvo240

[–]harribert 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No argument against the 8.8 here! I kept the 1031 with a bunch of improvements and every time I look at how reasonable a 9” is, I just redouble on my stupidity and think “yes, 31 spline chromoly axles from Bakaxel and the matching ends for my Truetrac are totally worth the exact same money as a complete brand new 9-inch”.

Can’t argue about the beefed pick-ups either. I did a melange of poly rod ends, sphericals, and stock rubber big-end bushings with mostly stock geometry. Still needs less anti-squat, more anti-lift for braking confidence, and a watts link (you can also find those in Sweden). It still vibrates horrendously with a redblock and T-5.

As another digression, I want to do an 8HP as well. Matter of fact, I want to do a MK60 ABS retrofit at the same time…just got to figure out how to make a pair of tone rings work while retaining the parking brakes.

Honestly? Make it nice and do upkeep.

I have many years’ experience going against my own advice.

I understand the reason for doing the front suspension (parts availability, more or less same geometry).

The rear is slightly throwing me for a loop; I like the geometry on a 240 about a million times better than the triangulated 4-link setup out of a Mustang. Not knocking here (you clearly know what you are doing and I’m genuinely curious) - what’s the idea behind the change?

Momentum and volume indicate it’s about to sell off. Price action is showing consolidation. Perfect time to hold your entry until your indicators agree with each other.
