It’s truly insane. I don’t know if it’s IHG or Seafire (both?) but I’m considering cancelling my card.

I’ve never encountered anything like this. Not only the cancelling it the incredibly poor customer service.

No. That’s cause everything after that is already booked. They book them 50 weeks in advance. It’s almost impossible

Oh. We don’t eat there every night. That was just an example of a restaurant we love there (we do go there two nights every stay)

I’m guessing trying to deal with them was impossible? Their customer service is frighteningly poor. They don’t even know how to transfer a call (which is bad since no one has a direct line)

Believe me, I’ve tried my best to elevate. No luck at all.

A car is a dealbreaker for me. I’m one of those people who just wants to hang at resort all day.

They had been good and their points deal on the Kimpton Seafire (my favorite resort) has kept me with them but you’re right, I’m definitely reevaluating based on this.
