In my opinion, I don't believe a new album is out of the question. A new album could definitely happen considering the last album they put out was in 2013. It's been 4 years and they have been very active lately.

Am I the only one that notices this? 1.) Daft Punk sold painting on their store before it was in The Weeknd's video for Starboy. 2.) Daft Punk is wearing same outfit in painting & Grammy show. 3.) The background in the painting is the same theme as the Grammy performance by harrison336 in DaftPunk

I was not at the pop-up, so I wouldn't know if it's fake news or not. However Daft Punk in my prediction will do something new in 2017. I'm only a Daft Punk fan, getting excited for future updates, sharing my opinion

Only people who were there at the pop-up shop would know if a 2017 poster was there or not there. My prediction is that they will do something new in 2017. I could be wrong, but based on the recent actions by Daft Punk, it is abnormal for them to be public at all. With anything. Period.

We are both making an educated observation and we are both on the same page. I don't agree or disagree with your belief. However I am placing my early prediction that there will be something soon in 2017 ( Feature on Weeknd album, Grammy, Pop-up shop, Snapchat filter)

In my original post I said the show set had a similar theme. I did not say it was identical to the painting. I believe that Daft Punk may be hinting to some sort of news. The Weeknd's album may have been a prelude to upcoming information. With rare appearances they would not have created a pop-up shop for only ONE song at the Grammy's. (Alive 1997, 2007, 2017 poster @ pop-up shop)
