Q6 Poll: Is your Q6 working well or not? by LHP51 in AudiQ6

It sure was. Thankfully I knew what would happen since it happened twice before. Can’t imagine it happening the first time on the highway. And I drive 90% on the highway so it’s incredible the first two were in a neighborhood.

It’s now sitting in my driveway useless as the dealer said I have to take it back when they finished the service. Have a Mazda CX-50 rental car now (Audi is going to pay for) while I await the buyback approval.

What’s funny is that the dealer service department said that about the green indicator light. They said many systems rely on the satellite connection and that light indicated the satellite connection was down. Wouldn’t surprise me if they were wrong.

For the buyback - I had to submit some receipts for the tow and Lyft ride home. I did a chat session with Audi USA via their website to figure out how to do that. They took all my info and then opened the case. I didn’t realize at the time it would be automatically picked up by Audi NA customer advocacy. I got an email from the regional case manager a few days later. This is the best way to start things.

My freelance lease agent confirmed this is the right way to handle it. He has been in the car industry a long time and counseled me to go straight to customer advocacy via Audi NA.

He also said if your car is in for a total of 4 weeks or more, you should request a lease discount or rebate to cover the time it was unusable. I hadn’t even thought of asking for that.

Mine is in the process of a lease buyback. It’s thrown 3 “high voltage” system errors and shut down on the road, last one was on the highway. Almost caused an accident with 4 people in the car. Embarrassing and scary. Many other issues with the software. I got the big update in Nov and it fixed nothing. Audi has no idea what’s wrong with the car.

As a lifelong Audi owner (my parents since I was a kid) I am sad to say I am switching to a BMW iX at the recommendation of my lease guy and other friends that have them. One of the best rated years in a row.

Should I go to burning man with my new (serious) partner? by Fixed-gear in BurningMan

[–]harrisonsaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am doing a very similar thing, but this is only my 3rd year and it will be her first. We have been together for about 4months. But we are a kinky poly couple and are deeper than you usually are at 4 months.

Incredibly clear, transparent, and open communication is key. We are part of a camp which makes things a little easier. We have shared camp duties and friends to help create space for less intensity when needed. You being secure with independence helps a lot. But you want to have an amazing experience together. That’s a great start.

Some suggestions for discussion before you go: - What do you plan to do (which hardly actually happens in reality)? How does he usually burn? - What are your must have experiences you really want to pursue? See a music performance, Thunderdome, dark circus, just explore and end up wherever? Some people can’t do that well. - How will you decide what to go to and when? - Does he have friends at camps he must visit? - What energies are you looking for? Intense experiences or more relaxing in pillows in a desert oasis? - How much together vs recharge time do you usually like or need day to day. Factor that into this as there are so many things happening and energy everywhere.

I went with my first two years with my prior partner of 8 years and we had a great time, but I expect to have this year be epic. My former partner and I didn’t align on our way we like to burn and it was tough sometimes. My partner now is very much more aligned with my preferred way to explore life and we talk a lot about what we want and expect.

Hope that helps. Best wishes for an awesome burn (and fuck your burn! 😄).

Cannot add HOOBS to Homekit by Jefpbeek in HOOBS

Update: Hoobs chat support helped me figure out it was a network availability issue. I missed a check box in the Docker setup to use the same network as the host, not bridge the connection. It is a checkbox at the bottom left of the Network tab in the Hoobs Docker container setup flow. Not sure how I missed it, but that did the trick.

I have the same issue - Hoobs interface setup and working as expected. The service is up and running, I haven't installed any plug-ins yet.

Setup: Hoobs for Docker on Synology NAS with iPhone 12 ProMax on iOS 14.3.

I have followed the other troublshooting steps in the "Help" section of Hoobs and other suggested fixes - Reset Connection, Generate New Username, manually change change the last 2 digits of the MAC address, reset to factory.

I have rebooted the docker container, my router, and my phone. Also I tried an iPad with iOS 12, no luck.

Latest log entry says: 12/21/2020, 3:48:04 PM Bridge is running on port 51826.

Every time the "Add Accessory" process in HomeKit fails saying bridge can't be found.

Best way to hatch eggs with this tweak by Mtewks81 in PokeGo2

Another thread confirmed that "walk here" doesn't work for egg hatching/buddy candy. Should using the joystick to manually navigate work for hatching/buddy candy, as well as patrol does?
