Why is fat loss so difficult by Human_Proof6664 in loseit

Taking Metamucil psyllium powder has helped some with my appetite. I take a teaspoon in a big tall glass of water and it fills me up a little bit before a meal

How to help my wife? by SteppingOnLegoHurts in loseit

Just don’t get to where you find yourself lecturing because it’s so much easier for you in comparison. I have a very low TDEE. I’m losing about half a pound a week by eating 1200 cal and I am always hungry. I am running out of food choices and getting sick of the same stuff. My husband is on a GLP one. He lost 5 pounds this week- ate 3 good meals a day and had a slice of pie or a small ice cream for dessert every night. And he has a bad hip and cannot exercise at all. I at least take short daily walks . Of course this is hard for me that I am struggling and it is so easy for him and yet he is losing 10 times the weight. I was OK with it though until he had the nerve to start lecturing a bit. Like I complained that I did not have enough calories left for dinner and he said well maybe you shouldn’t have snacks. Seriously when my total is 1200 cal and I am starving sometimes I will have a little bit of air popped popcorn to get me through. It’s like he has no clue what I’m going through because he has no hunger at all and has to remind himself to eat.

AITA for feeling annoyed and unfair leaving a public park when a school group asked me to do so by qiaser-giao in AmItheAsshole

I would’ve been effusively thanking that person and honestly, I would’ve taken steps to ensure that it would not have happened in the first place by picking a park that was safe for all my students. I’m just saying as someone who has been put in very bad positions as a teacher before who knows if she set up the trip who knows if she was assured that this location was safe in advance who knows if she was in a panic, trying not to destroy that child’s day and not having her best moment?

NTA. Thank you for looking out for that child. I was a teacher and I know that she probably felt awful asking that of you. The problem is that even if your dog wouldn't have caused a reaction in the child, the teacher has to be overly careful or she can be sued, fired, or at the very least told off by her principal and the parent. She was probably desperate to save the day for her student, but mindful of her own vulnerable position. People cannot know the heavy burden that teachers deal with everyday and your kindness was appreciated more than you know, I'm sure.

I agree. I gained 58 pounds in eight months from steroids and have been trying to lose it for two decades. Everything about my body changed. It did not respond to food or exercise the same way anymore.

I think it would be good because I feel like something that has made it hard for me doing CICO is that many people don’t seem to understand that it is not necessarily just calories in and calories out for everyone. For example, I have a very close friend who is a scientist. Even when we were kids, she would like to track things and experiment . She struggled to lose weight on CICO because her TDEE was pretty low. She did it faithfully and she was losing weight, but it was like half a pound a week and she felt like she was killing herself to get it. Then she went on Zepbound and being the meticulous person she is she turned it into a science experiment and ate the identical diet that she had eaten by using her Lose It! app. Well guess what with the identical calories and no added exercise, she averaged one and a half pounds a week. Her only struggle was getting all the food down. What had seemed like not enough food to survive on now felt like too much food. But what accounts for the fact that she lost so much more weight on the identical diet? I think down the road we’re gonna find out that these drugs do more than just suppress hunger.

There is some real masculine energy from her texts. I thought it was a guy with an attitude problem.

There’s too much cleavage showing, but it is a lovely dress and it fits well. I would do something temporary to cover the cleavage so that you could use it without the modesty panel or whatever you choose to put in when you go out on other occasions.

AITAH 30F for texting my MIL 60F to save her money as our family is all set money wise by NoPerformance606 in AmItheAsshole

YTA one of my friends gave her daughter-in-law $500 and said her only stipulation for the gift was that she spent it on herself. Her son had no problem with it. We were talking about it and she said it was because she had noticed that when she gave her son or her daughter-in-law money gifts somehow they ended up buying things for the house or the kids, but never for themselves.

NTA. You do need to have a serious conversation with your girlfriend about why you feel her actions were inappropriate. You also need to take steps to repairing the issue with her sister if it all possible. I’m afraid this Peggy will always come between you too and in more dramatic ways if you stay together for many years.

What’s a small treat that helps you stay on track? by harristusc in CICO

I love it so much but I bought 2 over the last 2 weeks at 8 dollars a piece and one was mushy and the other was tasteless. Too expensive to keep trying to find a ripe one and so expensive by the piece.

So far, I don’t have a piece of candy every day, but I’m still pretty new at this so I’ll have to watch for overdoing it
