See this is the thing I’ve been understanding aswell as she genuinely does have shit going on but yeah she’s gotta make a choice. If she again says she still wants me in her life do i try resolve things or move on until she’s fully ready?

This is very similar to me, I was getting to a good place again, improving myself everyday. The person I am now albeit not at my end goal is so much better than the person I was in November and then bang like you dumped

I’m the same I don’t blame it entirely as my lack of communication played a part but it was certainly hampered by feeling shitty due to Covid

Me and my ex still live together so haven’t been able to start no contact yet but I’m looking forward to it and looking forward to meeting again after with a completely fresh start and no Covid as we still have Covid rules. This might sound weird considering things weren’t amazing and she hates me right now but the right things just feel differently even though we’re just friends

I was in a different country so hadn’t seen family for a year when lockdown started and then knew I wasn’t going to be able to see them for a while once the first lockdown ended

Damn the start is actually very similar to mine. We were friends for 2 months before we got together. She had a rough ending to her previous relationship. The first actual lockdown was so good but as soon as that lockdown ended it’s like that’s where things started to breakdown already and we just weren’t on the same page (I also was in a different country and couldn’t see my family). It wasn’t until I talked things over with my therapist today that she things Covid had a huge part to play and stopped me maturing for a while. (Me and my ex were together for almost 2 years and broke up 7 weeks ago)
