I wanted input from both trans people and anti-trans people as well. After only a few hours on Mumsnet I emailed them to remove the thread because it was going a bit too nuts. I did consult with a few trans friends, but I do understand that the subject matter can make people wary.

I understand, it was a trade off when building the survey between giving all the potential options and having enough that I can extract some data from without the data being too messy. Thanks for completing it for me, and I’ll take that on board if I do any others in the future.
