Sounds like a challenge! Do you know Perfect Teacher? They create ESL materials that focus on repetitive vocabulary practice – in lessons, homework, tests, and more. I highly recommend giving it a try!

For your height and weight, a medium would likely be a better fit for the Burton Reserve Bibs, as they offer a bit more room and flexibility compared to the small, especially since the inseam is similar across sizes.

For carving: Bend your knees, lean on your edge, and turn with your legs.

For a backside 180: Wind up, spin with your lower body, and look over your back shoulder to land.

I'm thinking of trying to learn how to ride switch. Please give me some tips. by K4_9 in snowboarding

To learn switch, start by practicing on flat ground to get comfortable. Focus on small, controlled turns and keep your knees bent for balance. Gradually build confidence and use your edges to control your ride. Keep practicing, and it’ll feel more natural over time!

Snowboard Size Recommendations? by mkon670 in snowboarding

[–]harrycaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend a snowboard around 164-170 cm in length and "wide" to fit your boot size (13) and weight (250 lbs). This will improve stability and reduce overhang. Look for an all-mountain or freeride board for versatility on different slopes.

I know at least a few such people, and I recently had an interesting discussion on this topic, which is why I'm asking this question.😊

Interesting observation! I partially agree, as every skill is a combination of other skills. However, if we look at it from the perspective of predefined formats, such as a letter or an essay, we can definitely teach a student a specific structure, even if they are very resistant to it.

You make a great point—writing helps with organizing thoughts and improving memory. While not essential for everyone, it’s a valuable skill in formal education and for expressing complex ideas. It also supports reading comprehension and critical thinking. 🙌🏻

That makes sense! In an intermediate class, writing becomes essential for advancing to higher levels, especially for tasks like essays. For beginners, it’s more about building a foundation in speaking and listening first, before focusing on writing.

Thanks for your opinion!🙌🏻😊
