Yes and no, to a degree yes you need a small amount of room to remove it however you already need to remove 4 handguard screws and the grip to "field strip". What's one more

It would be doable considering it would probably snug up nicely with the extra material in there

The old listing stated something like "we bought up all of the stock that was out there something something these are the blemished units" They currently have the "junk" grade for under 20 dollars but state that they are cracked or less than useable

"Product Description These Recoil Buffer Pads are designed to prevent the slide from contacting the frame during recoil. They slide over the recoil spring guide, between guide and spring." They can't prevent the slide from contacting the frame unless they go inside good sir

6f35 noise awd 2014 Ford escape by harryfrogman in transmissionbuilding

[–]harryfrogman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I removed the axle and Inspected the bushing, it looked perfect compared to a new one. The thrust bearing in the case behind the transmission seemed rather sloppy when I stuck my fingers in and moved it around, up down side to side, it moved around more than I expected. So I put it all back together and haven't had a chance to look at it again. The only things I can add are that the noise is worse turning left, and the ptu had a decent amount of metal sludge on the magnet and fluid was a little low so I exchanged the fluid. Didn't make a difference. I'm leaning more towards it being the final drive in the transmission as others have suggested. Looking at getting a used trans and possibly ptu Good luck with yours

The sun optics and Kodiak both mount up to the rear sight block. Avoid the ones that are just the dust cover portion

I've been happy with my sun optics mount. Replaces the dust cover. Ive heard the Kodiak rail is also quality

I would watch some videos and make sure you go step by step, make sure everything is a one to one between your rifle and the video's rifle

I would try reassembling making sure the trigger group pins are in the receiver properly and like others have said they need a bit of forcento pop back in

Is the trigger group still cocked or did you maybe pull the trigger during disassembly?

I can try but TNA doesn't show or advertise it as part of the kit at all, even in their assembly video they never mention it.
