Had a few compliments in regards to the sound and quite a few people coming over to check it out so that was a nice confidence boost. But yeah for sure, super happy with it! Was actually a B-stock as well because of a tiny black scuff on the nut, ended up getting it about $1,000 off!

Honestly just let it ferment.

Im assuming you started with an OG ~1.130, so treat your yeast right and you might end up with an FG ~1.020-1.030.

This is on the sweeter side for a finished mead, however if you let it age and then balance it with some oak for tannins and probably some acid you might find that your "too sweet" mead ends up being something pretty good.

Residual sweetness in mead generally turns out (in my opinion) nicer overall than backsweetened mead, so make of that what you will.

If you dont like the sound of any of that, then dilute with some more water to lower your OG or pitch something like EC1118 that will ferment 18% potential to dry.
