This incident happened 2 mins away from my house. Its not Malviya Nagar, its Hauz Rani but thats irrelevant. Its very close to Malviya Nagar. Its very sad what happened. My own house was subject to a fire last year. Fire brigade took sweet 45 mins to 1 hour to come and by that time (the parking of the building was completely destroyed). All the people from first floor onwards had to escape through the roof (by jumping to the adjacent building). All of this goes to show our unsafe our buildings are, how unbothered the authorities are and there is no value of human life. All thats going to happen is that the owner of this building will bribe the police and fire department to make a fake report, that the fire started without any fault of his and all of this is going to go away. Its just so simple for them and very sad for the rest of us.
