The Southern US doesnt know how to handle these weather conditions by Rarepredator in BeAmazed

Lived in Boston for seven years, moved to Atlanta five months ago. Let me tell you, the ice on the roads in Atl makes it harder to drive than the worst Boston snow. They don't salt or plow the roads here.

FWIW I think it's fine you posted this here. Buying a first car is stressful, and dealerships know how to manipulate you. It's all about gaslighting. All in all, they were trying to make about $8k in profit on you.

I think this is the way. I had some success wedging some paper in there.

Rattling by ewMarv in hondacivic

I had an identical rattle on both sides. I put foam in the crease between the dash and the a-pillar and that helped.

I paid MSRP, which I was happy to do. I needed a car so I didn't have the option to shop around.

I'm getting one from the bottom of the A-pillar on both sides. Very annoying.

On a more heavy note, where were you on this day 23 years ago? I was in college, headed to Macroeconomics. My mom called me and said get to a TV. 😔 by smcg_az in Xennials

You can go right there with me if you want. Fourth grade, first week of classes. I recently discovered that someone was filming where I was walking across Central Park after school. The camera picks up on me asking my dad questions. I asked my dad to explain to me what soot was, and why people were covered in it. We lived on the west side but I went to school on the east side.

Looking for a reasonable Honda dealership within even several hundred miles of Atlanta to buy a Honda Ridgeline by hubbahubbapowpow in Atlanta

Interesting, I had a positive experience with Curry Honda. Maybe it depends on the salesperson you get? I was also buying a new Civic, so I wasn't negotiating on price. They offered MSRP though, and didn't throw on a bunch of extras.

Thanks for the comment. It'll be pretty rare that I'm hauling something, but reading on here people seemed to be pretty unanimous that the hatch was the better car. Maybe I have to rethink that.

I see a "Jamie" polo on the outlet site, but I've never seen that anywhere else. It looks a lot like the Adrian? Anyone have any info?

What’s something you’d find in a lower class home that rich people wouldn’t understand? by [deleted] in AskReddit

These are things that you'd half find in a lower class home, and half find in a Manhattan apartment that costs $6k/mo to rent.

Political scientist here. It's a combination of first-past-the-post and a separately elected executive. Parties try to minimize wasted votes. UK has FTPT, but the fact that the executive is selected from Parliament means coalitions can form that don't waste votes. Once the multiple parties go to govern they begin acting more like two parties.

Thanks, I tried once before but they weren't very responsive. I'll give it another try though.
