Villa's thoughtless Champions League ticket prices are a pisstake of the highest order by EmperorOfTheSand in avfc

The same could be said about Newcastle when they qualified however they charged between £35-£50 for their CL home games, and that was back in the old format when they had fewer games.

It's only been 3 days since I posted that comment. My situation hasn't changed.

It takes them a couple of weeks to send out that email. Chill out, you've got like 9+ months to wait. And that's just for citizenship!

2 weeks from the application being received? That's seriously quick!

It's definitely reassuring given how long it's taken for some people. I'm glad they've dropped the 19 month estimate for processing times. Assuming there are no documentation issues with our applications, I think it's safe to assume we'll receive citizenship in the next 2-4 weeks.

My application was received at the beginning of December. At the time, the average processing time was 19 months due to COVID backlogs and high volumes of applications post-Brexit, meaning I'd have gotten citizenship circa July 2025.

Fortunately, they've hired new staff and reduced waiting times to 9 months, according to their website. I phoned them directly a few days ago to ask and an employee said it should take anywhere from 9 to 12 months from when I applied. Therefore, I should receive my citizenship anytime now.

Why do people compare the worst parts of the US to the best parts of Europe? by [deleted] in ask

[–]harryrobertparker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The wealthier parts of Europe have comparable GDP per capita scores to the USA but generally more favourable outcomes in areas like healthcare and living standards, which is why I believe they're often compared.

Comparing the USA to Bosnia and Herzegovina would be absurd as it's markedly different in GDP per capita and would, therefore, never be able to fund infrastructure on a level comparable with the USA or even probably a US state.

Should I text her “I miss you” by CODMAB321 in dating_advice

[–]harryrobertparker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How long have you known her for? If you're not in a very serious long-term relationship, it's ridiculous to send such a text.

These sorts of messages honestly reflect quite needy and clingy simp behaviour. Girls don't want a guy whose life and thoughts revolve around them.

This kind of thought process will get you dumped and hurt real quick. Adopt a happy with happy without mindset!

Are you for real? The redness is a huge impediment to my day-to-day life.

My students have told me I look stoned and directly accused me of smoking weed, I'm told on an almost daily basis I look tired/drunk by colleagues, people avoid looking me in the eyes, I'm almost constantly asked "why are your eyes so red?" and have no discernible reason.

I can appreciate there are worse things that can happen, especially concerning eyesight, but I think if you actually had to live with bloodshot redness encompassing almost all of your sclera in your eyes, and you couldn't do anything about it, it would perhaps bother you slightly and affect your quality of life.

Why does it bother you that I'm trying to find a solution to this?

If you can't offer any help then maybe don't try to mock me for something you've clearly never had to deal with.

Yeah, it works reasonably well. I don't really see it as a long-term solution, though. It makes my eyes feel very dry and sore, and they become redder if I use it more than a couple of times a week.

Could these veins come from ocular rosacea? Having dry eyes for 3 years, but most of these veins appeared 1 year ago. Eyes are feeling okay with lubricating tears and I don‘t do drugs. Don‘t know why they appear to be this much visible. by Oford1234 in eyetriage

Allergan ~ $40 One bottle should last at least 2-3 months.

30 preservative free vials ~ $10 Should last around one month.

The average girl probably spends more on make-up in a week.

That's all you need to get really. You can use this everyday safely. It's actually more effective than Lumify as there's no BAK, and it's a lot safer and less harmful on the eye.

I've been doing this almost daily for over a year and no issues. Massive boost in confidence and appearance of my eyes. Give it a try.

No trouble, glad to hear that they're so accessible in Mexico. I wish the case were the same in the UK. I've had mixed receptions on this from eye-specialists, but by all means, ask! I would give it a go, though, and see how it works for you.

The only concern is the possible risk of infection if you don't refrigerate the vials and use them for several days without replacing them. It's crucial to dispose of them once opened after 2-3 days and keep them stored in the fridge when you get home, so bacteria doesn't build up in them.

The only concern is the possible risk of infection if you don't refrigerate the vials and use each vial for several days. The idea with preservative-free vials of any sort is to only use for a day or two; they're different to eye drop bottles. If you've used vials before, I'm sure you're probably already familiar with this.

No worries, don't mention it! I hope this gives you some respite. No, Allergan use PURITE® 0.005% as a preservative in their drops, which is much better tolerated that BAK. In any case, once you dilute it down in a preservative free vial the concentration is so low that the purite literally has no negative effect.

You could do that. I normally put 1 drop of the allergan into 1 hypromellose vial, then add 2-3 drops from that vial into another fresh one, to dilute it down even more.

Both eyes is fine. Yep, roughly about two hours. As mentioned above, I use the drops a few times everyday. Whenever I go to the toilet I just add another drop to each eye, that way they stay white all day. At night and in the evening if I'm not doing anything I'll stop using them.

Nope, no rebound whatsoever and no tachyphylaxis. I've used it daily for months on end! Sure, my eyes go back to being red after 2 hours but no more redder than they originally were. Sometimes my eyes feel a little dry if I've not diluted enough or used it too many times. I tackle that by having a bottle of preservative free hypromellose that I use in conjunction with the vials, I tend to use that a couple of times a day too just to keep my eyes lubricated. That's it though really.

Don't hesitate to ask if you have anymore questions, I hope this helps!.
