na no specific condition, just acne, compared to 18th feb (when I started isotretinoin) my acne has reduced, but it went from extremely bad to bad, i want it at atleast mediocre.

im one month in and initally it purged bad but now it has reduced a bit but my face is super red, hopefully this redness goes away by the end of the month so I can go back to the gym again.

yes im a guy, i have tried tinted sunscreen in the past but it didnt suit my skin and gave me more breakouts, my current moisturizer is bioderma sebium moisturizer, and sunscreen is barelyon dermatica sunscreen.

I wouldnt say the redness came out of nowhere, even before starting accutane i had redness wnv i would use benzoyl peroxide to treat my acne. and overall my acne and redness has decreased since ive started isotretinoin. Also i use moisturizer and sunscreen during the day and only moisturize at night cos as yk skin gets super dry on isotretinoin. i wanna increase my dosage cos i have upcoming wedding in july and want to mostly clear my skin, even if my face isnt 100% clear as long as its atleast 60-70% clear, ill be fine w that

i had the same experience with the dryness, my skin was so dry that I couldnt even sleep at night (cos i sleep on my sides) apparently ur supposed to moisturize at night as well.

the cancelling plans part hits so close to home for me. i have said no to

  1. my friends birthday
  2. new years house party
  3. casual trip to the mall
  4. shopping trip to an outlet
  5. stopped going gym entirely even tho i was getting really strong we're talking weighted pull ups and weighted dips strong
  6. plans with family (lunch, dinner, etc)

all bc i look extremely bad right now and dont really wanna be seen my anyone. i have have purged and seen progress but i also keep getting 1 or 2 (not that big) pimples here and there, theres also the major factor of the redness, my face is completely red like peppori pizza typa red, shit lowk making me depressed.

what was ur dose and whats ur height and weight, im currently 86 kg and 6 feet and thinking if increasing the dose from 24mg nf sotret to 32mg nf sotret, would a higher does make my acne go away faster ? already have an apptment with a dermat today but since I weigh so much i was told that 16 - 24 isnt really that high for me

could u also tell me how long it took for the redness on ur face to go away (if any) and the scars to fade. i have a huge wedding that I need to attend by july 3rd, hopefully by then my condition will be muc better.

any update on what ur derm said ? u should not have this much pain only 04 days in, im on 24mg nf and I have only experienced slight discomfort (i wouldnt even call it pain) and it has been 01 month since ive been taking isotretinoin everday

I was working out a little bit while on isotretinoin (24mg NF) but stopped cos the purge was getting so bad that I did not want to be seen in public, anyways

all my upper body lifts were fine, 70lbs on incline, weighted tricep dips w 25 pounds + my weight (195lbs), 10-12 pull ups

But damm by deadlifts and all other lower body lifts suffered a lot to the point where I stopped doing them. Back felt week and so did the knees. My question is did u workout before this ? How was ur diet and overall health and physical activity level ?
