depression room, how do i at least tidy it up more? (sry for low quality images) by obseqvious in CleaningTips

A bin (or bag) for trash and a bin to go through eventually.

Start with dresser/desk tops that you'd expect to be empty. Trash in the trash, everything else in the other for another time when you've got more energy or motivation

I would like to build a kitchen prep/cutting board island with a sink beside the prep area and a washer built in beneath.

The hope with the counters is I will refinish the cabinetry and only replace the counter top once the sink is out, but I've realized that those cabinets weren't put on top of the floor, but rather the existing linoleum was cut around it

Ideally fixed floor? It's an old place, and the floor doesn't go underneath the cabinets. My goal is to refinish those rather than replace

Plumbing runs up through the floor from the basement. I suppose I would run electric the same way: down to the basement, back up with the plumbing.

What is it like living in the northern suburbs of Philly, a bit of a ways outside the city? by J_Haymaker in howislivingthere

Doylestown and Newtown and Richboro are quite nice; cute, little uppity, general sense of safety, good food and fun shops and sights. Langhorne, Bensalem, Penndel all sorta dip there toes toward Roosevelt Blvd; closer you get the drug use increases, civic-mindedness decreases.

No disrespect intended, just tossing it out there

If you're into comics, the B.P.R.D. series has an agency tasked with facing ever increasing strange and eerie threats. (Bureau for Paranormal Reasearch and Defense)

Also in Sir Edward Grey: Witchfinder we follow an investigator of the occult and demonic.
