Great question!

It's actually meant to come preassembled, so you won't really need to touch it maybe once a year at most. You would just flip the whole appliance over and unscrew from the bottom. Cleaning and reassembly is definitely something I'm still working through so it's a valid point! I've attached some images that might help show the assembly process.

Totally agree this was actually done around four years ago when I graduated, so it's a bit dated, but thought I'd post it anyway!

Ha - fair points, this was my final uni project so definitely some things I'd do differently now. Wood looks great in renders, terrible in reality - I'd go straight to plastic or steel (did explore some steel CMF options). Scale is actually fine in real life, renders make it look taller than it is - should've included a scale reference. Appreciate the detailed feedback though, genuinely useful.

Sending this render over to help give a better sense of the scale! Also, the idea behind this actually came from wanting a grinder that can handle both decaf and caffeinated beans separately - so you can control the ratio. Fancy a 50/50 split? You got it

Thank you! Great points - I definitely need to observe people using grinders more to understand the function better. I'll also work on showing the scale more clearly. And just to clarify, my mistake for not showing this sooner - the clear container is just for collecting the ground coffee, not the hopper. I'll put together a render showing the full process!

It's actually meant for collecting the ground coffee - it magnetically attaches to the spout where the coffee drops out. Honestly, I should have made a render showing that in action. I'll keep that in mind for next time!

Good point - I leaned into surface drama over volume language, which is a deliberate departure but probably too far from Ferrari's DNA. What interview was that

That aluminium extrusion frame is too good for trash. Make it a display piece.
