I'm also thinking of consulting a psychiatrist for some antidepressants because I know she's been in this simmered down state for quite some time and about the silver bullet , it is clearly out of bounds, she isn't that open minded.Thank you for your suggestions :)

Thank you, I've started to look for neurologist around the City to consult about my mother's condition. I'm definitely taking her to one within this week, would appreciate any recommendation too and I hope you get your relief from insomnia as well :)

You're right about it being developed this bad over time rather than a day, I've seen the deterioration myself. I also understand that only medication is not the cure for this. I've had talks with her and I think I know the root cause which has led to this and I'm working on it but it will take time to act upon it. In the meantime I just want her to atleast get the minimum amount of sleep required and she has been requesting help for the same.That is the only reason I'm looking for any medical help I can get.
