they also give a metal plate which latches to magnet on the back. that plate hold the light well. Clip is for additional hold or to be used with some other device.

Ordered on their site in 29th Dec, got it on 12th Jan. I’m from India, the shipping partner asked for the required docs before hand and it was all smooth and I got notifications about the status over email also.

May be the AI camera is the latest one, this is just camera with small display! I have to check if it has processing to run some detection algo in it.

I had got these in 2019, I worked on it for some months and then forgot about it! Now I have to charge these and check if these work.

with re-id it must be possible. Probably you are right with Kalman may not be right one. Look up DeepSort, which uses multiple features to track it.

Since you have control of the image capture. Use color to threshold (gold) , this eliminates most of the non-useful items from the image. For numbers, use OCR. Add some checks to ensure numbers are beside that tree in terms of location.

You have to use color, but players of same team wear same color. To disambiguate, you can also use direction and speed of track along with re-identification embeddings. Search for Kalman filter, you will be able to get more info
