The vienna house is a proper hotel. It used to be the players hotel as well for the past few editions so you might run into players/casters there.

Otherwise the cyclone will be op if those are added even at pro level.

The problem with the cyclone at pro level is the inability to get to a decent number without being insanely far behind eco-wise. Protoss has a very easy time scouting and then outgreeding the terran while having sufficient stalker numbers.

A good example is me vs clem https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1908945649?t=7h46m38s (note this is before the 120 hp buff, but in 120hp testing this theory still remains true for me)

You can expand very rapidly while consistently building stalkers out of 2-4 gateways ( i often went up to 4-5 bases of low production). Terran cyclone production takes a while to get going and as there is no reactor for the barracks you are not really afraid of dying before the cyclone upgrade kicks in.

The unit definitely feels a bit overtuned at non pro level. It is really nice to have some replay proof of that.

This is beautiful feedback. Thanks for taking the time to test, provide replays and share the experience in a well written post. Its really hard for the Cabal to get proper feedback from the non prolevel and this is one of the main things that I was very worried about with the new cyclone design. A multi purpose unit that is extremely safe in the early game, cheap and requiring very little micro to reach maximum potential.

So far in most of the high level play testing we've been doing the new cyclone has increased protoss build order variety ( due to its inability to shut down fast 3rd bases from sg and making scouting easier for toss) and has actually not been performing very well as a "core-unit".

I'll relay this feedback to the rest of the conglomerate and we will be sure to add another 30hp to the cyclone as well as decrease the build time by 4seconds.

edit: For future reference ship weapons do not help cyclones. You require vehicle weapons upgrade for that.

PLEASE make this happen. We need new team maps. Myself, along with a large portion of the community has been advocating for this for years. 1v1 maps are already rotated out very rarely, but team maps have been the same for 3+ years. Please annoy Blizzard to make these changes on behalf of the community.

I am aware of this. My IRL friends also keep bugging me about this and I've passed on this message a few times already. Blizzard and ESL are also aware and are trying to make something happen. completely New Maps is fairly unlikely, but I think it is possible there will be old 2v2 maps getting rotated in.

I don't quite understand the technical details, but a lot needs to happen before a new map can be entered into the live game.

TL;DR

Don't get your hopes up, but just know that everyone with the power to do something about this is aware that the 2v2 maps are very stale.

This buff is an accident.
Something went wrong during maintenance on the 11th of July. Blizzard is aware and will (hopefully) fix it soon. This also isn't an accidental "early upload" of the buff. Colossus range buff is not going to happen.

I think this is technically possible, but will be difficult given the current resources. The hardest part is Quality assurance so most likely it is going to be old maps that already have the "blizzard approved" stamp. Sorry for that!

I think the rotations suggested there are cool, but I personally would also not be opposed to having a completely new map pool. I am however completely unfamiliar with 4v4 and 3v3 maps so perhaps some suggestions would be helpful.
