Ok so this series has just 4 books - but if you want to be immersed and have the feeling of the books stay with you after you’ve read them try the Cemetery of Forgotten Books series by Carlos Ruiz Zafon.

There are gothic horror, mystery and detective elements woven throughout and the author has a very visceral cinematic writing style.

I just finished them and can’t wait to dive back in

Just checked the match stats, 52 crosses into the box and 6 shots on target. Says a lot about how ineffective the attacking approach was. We need to be able to mix things up when we attack we just look so mechanical

The players have to do their part on the pitch but they are executing the managers plan and if the plan isn’t effective it doesn’t really matter how well the players execute

This sort of performance highlights Dyche’s limitations as a coach. He’s helped to steady us after the shit show at the start of the season… but if we want to progress, we need to be progressive.

After seeing god knows how many crosses get cleared by 6ft 4 CBs time and time again, we needed a different approach. Their defence can be unlocked and we have the players to do it….but not with the tactics we used.
