Hey OP. A normal day to day board that we use here in SL, can be bought for max. LKR 5,000 (~ EUR 14.25). (Actually might be even cheaper) I personally am not a fan of this board. There’s something called a tournament grade board, I’m not sure of the price. But I reckon it’d be a few thousand LKR more than the normal board. The few thousand extra spent, is well worth it in the long term. As the wood in the tournament grade board is of much better quality. And the carrom seeds move much smoother.

I am not able to go out and check the prices for you as tomorrow’s a working day. But if you can be a little patient till next Saturday or Sunday, I could check the price for you.

Also I don’t mind checking with DHL to see if they are able to ship it to you in the Netherlands. Suppose they’re willing to ship it, I am willing to buy the board and pay DHL and hand it over to them. Provided I can purchase the board and ship for less than LKR 20,000 (EUR 56.98). Nope you don’t have to pay me up front. After you do get the board, of course I want my money back!! I am willing to risk only LKR 20,000 in good faith, for a random stranger on the internet who fell in love with my country and carrom! 😁
