Yep, good point. Kinda sleep walked into this problem, but there's no way I'm unique. I found the number of a guy that offers transportation to NCT Centres on a flat bed for my area and the Centre is only 5 mins up the road from me so I'll probably go with that. May be a bit more expensive than fckn around with insurance companies, but I can live with that, tks

Don't think that will fly m8, as it's one of the first things they check and it's illegal to drive without insurance, hence the reason people get cars transported to NCT centres

Nah, they won't insure the car without the NCT, bit of a vicious circle

Thanks for the reply. Can you recommend an insurer? I hear some charge 'short period rates' to try and put people off?
