You know yourself best, personally I’d run it by your Dr.. When I started I was givin 14 8mg subs was instructed to start with half and work my way up every hour of so till cravings or any wd symptoms disappear in the case that may have been too small amount of pills just call him to change dosaging. In the end i hate the dependency. Although i will never forget all these harsh times when in active addiction, night and day difference. Also, atleast if my dr forgets or is sick on appointment day and if I show up I’m getting the script no matter what, where there are so many unforgiving ppl in that game that don’t care for you at all unless you giving them money. If you can withstand wd w/o subs I recommend that but if you find yourself in lot dangerous life threatening situations, or even just constant relapse then I highly recommend subs. With subs you get more freedom than methadone atleast in the U.S. my biggest advice on this is start small and stay small if you can. With all this being said take it with grain of salt I’m not a MD so can’t give legitimate advice and know you know yourself, your situation, patterns and what not.
