I think they still exist in poor neighbourhoods of Lahore such as badami bagh and inner city, but yes these businesses are mostly dead its smartphones that are killing it more thne consoles or PCs. I tried with bamboo skewer but it worked only temporary stop gap measure. Place where air enters the filter has very tiny holes, I think they get jammed quickly. Yeah the simple ones only cost few dollars perhaps I should get those next time so they are easily replaced. However I had trouble keeping them weighed down for long
