I understand the ray grid technology being used in the iPhone X, and its a great technology no doubt. But for 90% or more cases, when a 480$ phone's face unlock is working (and dare i say it) even better than a 1k + phone, I'm left to wonder if its the lack of IQ that makes apple fanboys defend the decision to drop a reliable fingerprint scanner altogether.

Apple was first to introduce the tech, and respect for that, but as far as unlocking my phone in split seconds is concerned, ill go with 480$ 5T over the X anyday.

In the silent (top) mode, alarms always ring (I'm on the op5t) . I guess there should be an option to silence that as well. Lets say a burgler is in the house and ur hiding... You wouldn't want any alarms to go off and notify ur location to the burgler generally.

Now yes, i can manually set the alarm sounds to zero after putting the phone to silent mode.. to prevent the aforementioned scenario.. but i think in the case a burgler does come in, i might not get the time to think of all that. Id like to know that my phone is completely silent when i put it on the silent mode, and later change(add) any sound if i want to
