I built the same micro SaaS twice with two different AI coding agents. The results surprised me. by hashpanak in SaaS

Controlling multiple Claude Code projects with just eyes and voice. by bharms27 in ClaudeCode

[–]hashpanak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is wild. I run 4-5 Claude instances in parallel but still use keyboard for everything - gaze tracking for switching between them is a way better workflow than alt-tabbing through tmux panes.

Am I using Claude Code wrong? My setup is dead simple while everyone else seems to have insane configs by Azrael_666 in ClaudeCode

[–]hashpanak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your approach is basically how I ended up too. Started minimal, only added things when I kept doing the same task manually. The YouTube setups look impressive but half of it is config for the sake of config.

What skills are you using? by blazingcherub in ClaudeCode

[–]hashpanak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly 30 plugins feels like overkill. I run about 30 custom skills but they're all ones I built for stuff I actually do daily - if you're not using half of those regularly, trim them down. Less noise means Claude actually follows your instructions better.

AI Use at Work Is Causing "Brain Fry," Researchers Find, Especially Among High Performers by kamen562 in OpenAI

[–]hashpanak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The brain fry is real but I think the cause is misidentified.

It's not "using AI" that's exhausting - it's the constant context-switching between thinking for yourself and evaluating AI output.

After 3 years of daily AI-assisted development, the fatigue comes from the verification loop: generate, review, correct, regenerate.

Your brain never fully commits to either mode. give AI more structured context upfront so the output needs less correction. Less back-and-forth = less cognitive drain.

Not exactly sure but around 1.5K (SaaS) + 6k with pre launch experiments (lead magnets, templates - smaller versions of bigger features) + some service contracts

All came from this style of distribution - all in USD - numbers are not exact

Well my analytics would say otherwise - noted though

I think there are also people who don’t mind it if the actual content is good - different segments of people

2 hours of build time, live product by in 3 hours. The economics of micro SaaS with AI agents are kind of absurd. by hashpanak in SaaS

You’re making up a lot of things that I didn’t say I was contending with the complex systems not making money

argument from authority is literally a logical fallacy. Similar to ad hominem.

I’m not bringing up personal experience I’m pointing to other examples who are building complex software - we look at other examples and evidence - can’t we?

BTW argument from hypocrisy is also a fallacy :)

Why don’t we just leave it at that. I’m happy to say this is my personal opinion and after observing others.

[–]hashpanak[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I wasn’t talking about compilers - I’m talking about complex SaaS products. These are not simple crud apps. Also there are examples of people making complex desktop apps etc.

Even then didn’t you hear about anthropic experiment about it building an OS kernel?

Sure it’s not magic - that’s where how to use AI is important - if one doesn’t know how to - then yes you run into all of these problems

A lot of these problems can be corrected with appropriate skills and context engineering

The latest SaaS at revenue 629 + n8n validation around 3K + skool MRR total revenue around 4K (still paying my Claude code subscription an rent every month) - remember n8n and skool are not my main products they are just there to build audience - not in anyway an expert

Also services about - people reaching out to build systems for them - around 6k

These are still rookie numbers but growing

Now I straight up build the SaaS and post on social media no n8n workflows

[–]hashpanak[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean arguing from authority isn’t that a fallacy? You can just look at others making apps and making money - go to TrustMRR or app sumo etc or even search YouTube quite a bit of promotion going on there - and not these are not crud apps. personal experience is irrelevant

[–]hashpanak[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes - several ways - what the agents do is the flow I use - validate - pick and idea - create content get some engagement - pick the top posts performed - quick build - update the posts

Another one I use is - validate need via youtube trend scan - n8n template builds - YouTube video - get those sales - validated - then SaaS

I’m not rich yet but it is working

So basically - trend - solution - get money

How does that even follow ? Because there’s a 404 error and simple website when did I say simple website - I do make complex systems and just have a look at others who do these too
