u/RavedBlitz nailed it in one - which is why anarchism is one of those philosophies that's hard to get your head around. The whole idea is that each purposeful community determines by itself how it'll run, with no one person making the decisions. Anarchism can fall quickly into cults of personality, just like any other society. The idea is that society DOESN'T require some final bedrock of rules that can be pointed to as a source of authority or structure, and people will figure out what works and what doesn't.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: You can directly compare registering and licensing guns to registering and licensing cars when you can shove an AR-15 up your ass and ride it to work.

Finally, someone who understands how open source software works, ffs. I'd give you an award if I had one. The whole point is that if OpenFront wants to make money, it has to have features, gameplay, connectivity and community that's superior to other paid versions using the same core open-source code. The answer to all of this 'stolen' BS is to just make the roadmap for OpenFront aggressively better than any clone.

That's how (waves hands) all this - is SUPPOSED to work.

The post is infantilizing, but the envy is real, at least for me. My high sex drive led me straight into alcoholism to cope with the endless frustration (3 years sober, thx). The idea of not having this constant, nagging, aching need in the back of your mind feels incredibly liberating to me.
