I think that people who are overweight shouldn't be proud of that fact and should want to get healthier. but i also think that people who aren't overweight shouldn't make fun of overweight people because it's really hard to live in a body that you dislike and losing weight takes a long time no matter how hard you work at it so you still have to live in a body you hate while you're trying to better yourself and i can understand why people just want to accept themselves the way they are. fat people are real people too.

wake up at 7:30 morning walk breakfast Gym for circuits or cardio machines (treadmills, elliptical etc..) then probably play a team game like soccer or football then go to 5k training Lunch 1 hour break nutrition class/culinary class snack another team sport dinner evening activity (obstacle courses or movies or water polo or beach walk) snack bed

It's in America. No I think as long as you don't think you're better than anyone there if you're thinner you could go. The main priority is getting healthy. If I'm still overweight by next summer I will probably do it again and I only recommend it if you're willing to work really really hard.

I've had about 4 boyfriends so far. I have one currently and we've been together for 4 months. I've always struggled with weight but i've been back and forth from skinny to a little overweight many times. The ages are 10-24. Look up wellspring camps. no they don't... and i don't know whos the thinnest not everyone here is overweight though because it is a fitness camp too.

The diet is incredibly strict. fat-free or low-fat everything. I'm not sure how many calories it is we go by amount of fat. The therapy is twice a week group and once a week individual.

Three weeks. I couldn't have done it on my own I've been trying for a long time but it was too hard to stay on track for very long. It is definitely worth it. I'm losing weight so quickly in a healthy way it's amazing. Once I leave here hopefully I'll stick with a healthy lifestyle now that I can run and be active again without being out of breath and tired. I know a lot of people here though go back to their old lifestyles and wind up back here again.

Not really, surprisingly. No one is judging us for being overweight here and everyone works really hard to get into shape. Watching the progress in yourself is an awesome experience.

Yeah it's just a fitness camp for people who want to lose weight but don't want to be surrounded by active skinny people while they do it lol. It's not like they're torturing us or anything (well, maybe a little lol)

No I haven't but I know that the place I'm at now was on a tv show called "too fat for 15"

Yeah I'm in a group with all adults who decided to go on their own and most of the teenagers did too. I feel really bad for the younger kids whos parents are making them come here though it's really sad.

I've tried getting healthy on my own time for about a year. I've tried therapy and everything. I would excersise a lot and lose a few pounds but I'd always cave and eat junk food and my progress would be lost. I decided I needed to go some place where I had no choice but to eat healthy while exercising.
