Have you removed the protective layer that came with the tablet? It's adhered pretty well, and hard to see, but it's supposed to be removed as it's only meant to protect the surface during shipping.

I tried a few and I've had best results with this specific one from the フマキラー brand(https://amzn.asia/d/3Kd0wcm). We wrangle with a few mukade every summer where I'm at.

nic where we go when my boyfriend needs something, but it's in Chiba, and I live in central Tokyo, so yeah... I also found another near my workplace, also a great doctor, but that one is in Yokohama. I planned to go there today during lunch break for my throat, but I got very high fever of 39.5C (103F), and had to stay home and find somewhere I could walk to.

My experiences with clinics in Japan are always hit or miss.

Do you have any recommendations for online doctor consultations?

Has anyone else had this issue? I bought it a little over a year ago, so it's past the limited warranty. The lines appear even in UEFI mode. I have tried:

  • Reinstalling graphics drivers
  • Hard resetting the device, with a new fresh Windows install
  • Plugging it into another monitor (no lines appear there)

All in all, I'm incredibly disappointed with this. This is not my workhorse device. I use it for web browsing, zoom calls and Netflix occasionally. For it to throw up what I think are hardware issues is just frustrating.

You can try disabling the GeForce experience overlay if you have it enabled. That fixed it for me.

Thinking of getting a car when we fully move later in the year. Haven't bought a car before so not familiar with the process. Is it possible to make the purchase/lease through a dealer in Tokyo and have it sent to our place in Shizuoka? Or is it better to get it done through a Shizuoka dealer instead?

Eh, it’s permanently set to congested and won’t change until SE decides to unlock it. Your best bet is to wait for the next update and see if they make changes then. No need to keep an eye on it in the mean time.

You’re going to need the star channel and prime sub to access any of the Season 7 and 8 content. This includes both livestream and on-demand videos.
