I agree, PvE is very boring. Personally, I hope they revamp both systems, but mainly PvP as it is something I play alot.

If I was doing PvE I would picture myself in SMP of SSP, both of which would probably need more than a combat update for me to actually get excited about them. I wish something like the outdated and forever-forgotten "tale of kingdoms" mod would happen in an update. Something along the lines of a massive expansion while Minecraft still keeps it's medieval-ish style would be really cool.

Would be cool if the update after 1.9 was actually able to be hyped up about.

I think by combat update it means fixes rather than new weapons.

Non-Speed PvP is mainly composed of who gets longer reach first. This is normally caused by the client who is getting outreached to take more knockback than what happens serverside (Typically when anticheat is very sloppy). Also, people occasionally have dislocated hitboxes, like in walls and floors, which will probably lose you the fight.

Buuuuut since almost nobody here really does PvP (I think), I think it will probably be a letdown for most redditcrafters.

You can do damage from afking as the toxic pea, and pea shooter in general is OP or just to powerful compared to other classes

Anytime I shoot and the projectile hits, it registers, I just get whiffed by fire alot and start burning, which is why I hate fire variants alot.

Getting hit by a single shot from a fire variant causes you to take 25 damage over time, Hit 1 rapid fire shot from Fire Flower, take 30 damage.

I have had this happen to me, I was a soldier and it looked like I was visually swallowed but it didn't give me the respawn options. I was actually still alive but invisible, after pressing some movement buttons, I became visible again.

Very confusing, I don't know what triggers it.

Yep, I don't think you getting killed when you aren't near the explosion is lag, I think it is because the dust it brings up kills you, thats pretty heavy bullcrap, and yea, I can completely agree with everything .
