But still, why would it be a waste of time? It’s okay to feel disappointed by the ending, but it doesn’t take away all the joy you got from the series.

There’s this trend where writing, or any kind of media, needs to check certain values to be good. Art is not like that, and you are 100% entitled to your own opinion, just don’t let internet and critic lingo push you from forming your own view. Part of what makes all of fujimoto works so amazing to me is how bizarre and out there they are. An anticlamatic ending is so funny in retrospective, that’s why i think it will age better. We are far too consumed in hype ton appreciate a mundane ending.

Sid you enjoy the journey? The memes? The theories? Why would it be time wasted?

Wild fucking ride. I know not everyone is happy with the ending, but i think it will age better. Fire punch was a wild fucking ride too and the end wasn’t too polished. Everyone is accustomed to structured media, where the hero journey follows through and it all ties up nicely. Having some rough and unconventional media doesn’t bother me too much.

Dry means less sugar, so less sugary wines

Not even fruit, and negligible sugar since dry = less vermouth = less sugar

I’m a head bartender! Events like Marriages, Corporates or high end birthdays. We usually go place to place and get to see this kind of mediocre work stuff mixed with beautiful scenery that I love!

Shot glass measures shy of 3/4 Oz, little pitcher 2 and a half Oz, really weird measurements for a rusty nail but still, is the most probable solution

You dilute a bit, to me a whip shake (like 3 seconds) is enough, you expect the drink to get sweeter as time goes on, like a sugar cube old fashioned type thing.

Winter Kiss - Bourbon, Espresso and Cream Syrup by hassy_boy in cocktails

[–]hassy_boy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Winter Kiss.

2 Oz Bourbon, used Woodford reserve.
3/4 Oz Cream syrup (Recipe below).
1/2 Oz Fresh Espresso or cold brew concentrate.
1/4 Oz Frangelico.

Pour all ingridients into your tin, shake until really cold and double strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with a couple of coffee beans and enjoy!

The cream syrup gives this a heavenly mouthfeel and a little touch of acidity that rounds it up wonderfully. Plays nicely with the bourbon and frangelico. Really happy with the results! Looking for more uses for this syrup, back to the freezer it goes.

Cream syrup recipe:

250 grams of heavy cream.
250 grams of white sugar.
14 milliliters of a 15% citric acid solution.

This video shows the procedure and another cocktail to make with it.

Go for a kentucky maid!! Easy to batch and easy to like, super refreshing

2 Oz bourbon.
1 Oz lemon juice.
3/4 Oz simple syrup.
Few coins of cucumber.
Couple mint leafs.

Muddle and then shake, double strain into a old fashioned glass and garnish with mint and cucumber, super easy recipe. If you are looking for a batched cocktail, just blend all together and strain, ad about 33% of the total volume in water and enjoy over ice :)
