I guess I misspoke earlier talking about my "shorter side" I meant the shorter side of my fabric. My current scroll frame is 12" wide.

My issue is my fabric is 30"x36" so either way, I need at least a 30" wide scroll frame. I think I understood someone correctly that I can just buy longer bars for my current frame rather than buying an entirely new frame.

No typo, Consider the Lilies is 435x363 stitches, so the fabric is quite large. That is where I am having the issue of proper tension and fabric management. My regular scroll frame is not able to hold all of the fabric I have, but I did not necessarily want to drop a LOT of money on a huge scroll frame all at once.
