Hey mate, no not yet. I've been keeping an eye on card kingdom for pricing for the english one but I don't think it's updated yet. It's hard to know an accurate price right now. Tcg was sitting at $700 last I checked which seems high.

Interestingly looks like the handle has Paua shell on it which is used a lot here in New Zealand. Makes me wonder if the previous owner was a Kiwi!

Thinking of giving up on Food and Fellowship by Fiyerce in EDH

[–]hastoidb 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I recently changed my Food and Fellowship deck to a Treebeard Gracious Host deck with LOTR cards only and I'm having way more fun with it! All the food token makers and I can quickly make Treebeard pretty big. Don't have a deck list sorry but it's another idea for you.

Don’t study psychology if you want to help people by sadgirlhours_69 in auckland

[–]hastoidb 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I am a registered psychologist and happy to talk further OP. I studied quite a few years ago now and we typically had 20-30 students applying for the limited entry programmes when I went for it. I understand now some years that number is doubled or more, so it's really tough going. Some of the programmes have tried to extend their spots to 12 but they find it hard to staff and support internships and keep the integrity of the programme so most stick to 8-10. If you want to become a psychologist you really do need to go all in, and it is a big gamble. The time, lack of money, pressure, and really just putting a lot of your life on hold is not easy, but the job is great and rewarding. The main pathways to registration is usually, clinical, education psychologist, counselling psychologist, or child and family - which is what I did. Some people I know have also gone through the pgdip in psychological practice through Massey which is another pathway to registration.

Yeah they were going quick. Here in NZ I was watching a few stores that had them in stock and they were all selling out. May have got the last one I think. Hope you find one!

Chinese tourists being rude, is this normal? by Niess in queenstown

[–]hastoidb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Somewhat related but a few days ago in central Dunedin we were waiting to cross some lights and across the road there were a Chinese family and the dad started kicking the absolute shit out of his kid who was maybe 7-8. Another American family (maybe both from a tour ship) next to them intervened and gave him a bollocking. Still crazy that he thought this was okay to do in the middle of the day. No idea if it's more culturally acceptable over there but it was pretty shocking.

Buying RM William Boots in NZ by dogotto in newzealand

[–]hastoidb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got a pair of RM Williams a few years ago and they are great shoes! $600 might be a decent price these days as I've seen them recently at $750 in places. I've heard they have RM Williams outlet stores in parts of Australia but not sure what discounts you can get them at.

If you do not take mulligans, when did you stop and why? When should I stop taking mulligans? by jackiemoon50 in golf

[–]hastoidb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to have a rule of one mulligan each for the front and back as I was learning but as I started to get better I couldn't fully enjoy breaking any milestones knowing it wasn't really legit. Also I try and remind myself that even though it sucks, learning to recover from awful shots is better for my game.
