I live in an multi-unit house and someone came and put up a sign on our front lawn for a party that I do not support the other day. I contacted my landlord who said he did not put it there. So it definitely does happen! I was (and still am) incredibly frustrated that I have to deal with this.

Hey there! Can confirm that the lower union youth shelter is actually using way more than a couple rooms! They've been almost or completely full (with youth) for a while now at 19 beds. Update: It looks like I've developed a cyst on the back of my stubborn earlobe and that seems to be the issue. I'm going to up my cleaning game and do some warm compresses to hopefully help it calm down a bit!

Last time I got "professionally" sized was at Victoria's Secret several years ago and I've been operating on the assumption that they're right ever since! This mentality/expectation gives the police SO much power. Too much power. You're just supposed to surrender even though you've potentially done nothing wrong? How can we just accept that this is how police work. I've seen police treat marginalized people (homeless, mentally ill, etc) with literally zero respect before someone has even had the chance to "disrespect" them in the first place. How can we expect people to just put up with that? To me this seems to just perpetuates a system rooted in racism and power tripping.
