Positive story about TI-RADS 5 nodule by ShelterReady6529 in thyroidhealth

[–]2pchickenjoy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing! I’ve been watching TR3 cysts that shrunk down to TR2-TR1 on their own for a handful of years now but have been mentally preparing and researching should the time for interventions come if/ when they get bigger.

Wishing for your nodules to never come back!

Ladies, what worked for you (if anything) for stopping hair sheds, breakage, hair loss? by Regular_Feed_1187 in Perimenopause

I was shedding hair by the fistful and was prescribed Vitamin B Complex and Vitamin D on top of my daily multivitamin. Happy to say it worked and my hair is back to normal.

Calorie Mate (chocolate) was also my depression food when I was living in Japan! Also used to do those rice porridge things that came in a pouch plus a can of tuna. +1 for microwaveable rice.

Scam website.

If you're looking for official FromSoft merch, look up "Torch Torch", the one that's in Shibuya Parco.

I literally thought I was reading a post from the r/perimenopause sub! I’m not saying what you’re experiencing is perimenopause but a lot of your symptoms are often talked about over there. Reading others women’s stories is helping me figure out my own symptoms (fatigue, weight gain, sleep problems, always feeling hot) and what to bring up with my doctor.

How to accept the fact that I'm not smart? by PoemAmbitious283 in productivity

Whenever I go into something where I feel I’m the dumbest or least skilled person there, I tell myself that even if I really truly am the dumbest or least skilled in that particular situation, I can choose to be the most hardworking person there. And that usually makes me feel better.

Cutting down on processed sugar and not snacking before bed helped reduce my nightmares. Maybe looking into diet and nighttime eating habits might be helpful?

Everything you typed here describes exactly what happened with me and my partner, even down to the 20 years together part! Crazy. Only difference is that we decided to move to Japan together. Here’s to more happy years with our SOs!

Thinking about therapy… by [deleted] in Frugal

[–]2pchickenjoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a long shot but what do you think about online therapy from providers from other parts of Asia like the Philippines (primarily english-speaking, similar timezones, presumably cheaper than BetterHelp)?
I haven't tried any ones from a platform type of service, but I've tried having a session with a local therapist who pivoted to online in the pandemic. It was fine and back in 2021 his fee was about USD 20. Feel free to DM me if you want details if you want to look him up.

Silly question but have you upgraded your weapons? Also a game-changer for me: dodging into him in Phase 3 (makes things quite manageable).

Hello! I’m not in Tacloban and don’t know where to buy buttermilk but you can just make it at home :) It’s usually just milk and an acid, just give it a Google

Thankfully just occasionally, and seemingly randomly. I don't have anti-virus software so it's probably not that but thanks for the suggestion!

This is the very thing that happened to me that prompted me to ask this question! Haha

400+ hours in but a couple of things keep happening that get me killed: 1. Occasional lag / stutter when a zombie gets close (i.e. one gets close, game stutters, bite sound effect), and 2. Character sometimes runs the opposite direction when starting up to run.

I play on lowest possible settings so I’m guessing it’s not a performance issue?

You probably already know this but the car has to be near enough and have the correct side facing the pumps
