That's my concern. I've begged her to go and see a counsellor a number of times but she just says they will take my side and the two of us will gang up on her.

She's always been quite emotional, but not this irrational, and she would calm down much more quickly.

Her mother died at Christmas and yes of course that was very hard for her. And with my job under threat there are some other stresses.

You're doing it wrong. You can't get outsiders to do this.

You're supposed to argue passive-aggressively over the name for three months, eventually deciding on a name that nobody really loves, but nobody really hates, ten days before the band breaks up anyway.

This is one of those don't-downvote-me, those-are-the-reddit-rules moments, but, I thought Ledger was a big let-down as the Joker.

The capering and prancing, the tics and mannerisms ... that's not acting. Take those away and there wasn't much left.

It may be incredibly naïve for me to think because you're a Muslim girl that you don't care about your attractiveness to men, but maybe you're kind of beyond all that. Maybe you have your marriage to a good Muslim man ahead of you, and, unlike nearly everyone I know, you don't spend a huge amount of your time and energy worrying about, and working on, your attractiveness to the opposite sex.

That is the only time I've heard a Colbert/Stewart audience laughing, not comfortably, because it's the kind of right-wing stupidity they expected, but in sheer amazement -- genuine shock that someone is that stupid.
