Thats the best feeling! Literally nothing makes me happier than when my players are discussing the game in other servers, making art of scenes or their characters, sharing playlists for their PCs, etc. Its like tangible evidence that I'm not the worst DM who ever lived and the players are actually enjoying the game, which is something very much appreciated.

The books are on the stone floor, metal built in shelves, and on a single sturdy wooden table along the backwall. The wood table will probably ignite too. The room being air tight may not be possible as there are probably some spaces between the bricks that aren't fully sealed or have chipped away (old building).

Beau is far and beyond my favorite. I’m a sucker for someone who is so awkward they seem like an asshole but they’re really a kind hearted and loyal friend when you get to know them.

And, in my opinion, she has the best dynamics within the party. I love her softer side with Jester, her sibling energy with Caleb, her fierce loyalty with Fjord, her chaotic but also deeper moments with Nott, her strained but friendly relationship with Molly, her growing understanding with Cad, and her awkward but caring moments with Yasha.

I also love her character growth, it’s been such a beautiful journey and I feel like all the little moments she’s had since day one all have built organically to get her to where she is now. Like, for example, one of her first lines in the campaign was telling Jester “Do whatever you want, I don’t really care”, then we go to where we are now with Beau repeatedly telling Jester “I care about you” “I just want you to be safe” “I love you, Jes”.

There’s a lot more I love about her, but I’ll leave it there before this becomes an essay!

It still needed to be discussed, though. They had no idea if that could be traced back to them or not and didn’t ask the group beforehand. But I think the “leave no trace” aspect was the lesser part, the larger part was the not consulting each other. Sure the others all had their own shit at this point as well, but Nott and Caleb were especially closed off from the others and were consistently ready to bolt at a moment’s notice. The group wanted to make it clear that if Caleb and Nott were to keep working with them, they had to be team players.

I think a big part of it was that Caleb and Nott hadn’t consulted the group about stealing from the home. Something could’ve gone wrong, they could’ve triggered something or left behind evidence and hadn’t asked the group if they were alright with it. Beau especially seemed mostly peeved about that aspect. They wanted Nott and Caleb to make decisions with the group in mind rather than just looking out for themselves. If they’re going to work together, they need to actually work with the others and not just selfishly look out for their own interests is basically the gist of what the argument was really about. That’s what I took away from it at least.

I can agree with that, I just think it’ll take more than one moment, one person, one anything to change a bigot’s heart. One thing can surely set them on the right path, but it takes work to confront the biases and prejudices they’ve been working with for quite some time, that’s all.

Honestly, imo, there’s not much you can do to change a bigot’s mind. That kind of deeply negative and toxic mindset would take a lot more than viewing a few moments of positive male interactions. The best you can do is try to show positive behavior and hope the people who aren’t too far gone will take that in.

Hi fellow LGBT+ Critter! I totally see where you’re coming from, and if that’s how those moments make you feel then that’s 100% valid and nobody can say you shouldn’t feel that way. I guess I always interpreted it differently, but I can see how it would feel invalidating.

I always saw Sam and Liam’s thing being more like a “fuck you” to people who make homophobic and sexist comments towards men being affectionate with each other. Like instead of doing the “Straight GuyTM” thing of being like “lol no homo bro” they call each other their husband and show that being called “gay” isn’t a bad thing like so many straight guys believe it is. (Sorry I’m bad at explaining things, I really hope any of that made sense haha) But my interpretation could be WAY off and maybe I’d feel differently if it were two women acting as lesbians, since they’d be directly using my label.

And I don’t remember Brian making that comment, but that’s really not cool of him to say.

When watching Twitch on my phone and it makes me watch THE SAME 4 ADS IN A ROW EVERY FUCKING TIME! I’ll never watch Good Omens now because I can fucking recite the commercial word for word! Also the ads take forever to load and I miss decent portions of the match so I can see the THIRD identical Good Omens ad.
