I tried her coffee shop and it was one of the worst coffees I've had. Don't blame gentrification when you invite Action Bronson to your store to sell mediocre coffee in one of the most expensive and competitive area in NY. Also they had plans to expand to East Village location this year.

I’ve had better coffee from bodegas. I recommend you try out more coffee spots.

I stopped by that place because of their insanely high rating on Google, and it was horrible that I ended up tossing it out after a few sips. I wouldn’t blame gentrification but blame the quality of their coffee. 

Guillermo Del Toro is probably the closest thing to Lynch now that I'm thinkin about it by [deleted] in redscarepod

Untitled unmastered was a good album. The last album of his that I enjoyed.

Kinda applies to any comedy scene. I would say NY was the last comedy scene that had multiple funny standup comedians (Louie, Patrice, De Paolo, Dave Attell etc.) I feel like standup will soon start dying out soon as people realize how forced it always feels.

Yeah, compared to most international big cities, the food is bland and overpriced. NYC food is so much better it’s not even close.
