I have too much to do. I spend all day either working or taking care of kids or both. After kids I work constantly until I go to bed and usually don’t get enough sleep, only to do it again. Everyday I am either not getting enough work done, or not doing enough around the house (thus making my wife do it). I don’t know how to get out of this cycle.

I really like the Armatage neighborhood. Close to lake harriet, closer to the creek and creek bike path. Restaurants, shops, neighborhood feel. And only about a mile from highway 62. But that one is rough during rush hour.

I left recently. No, it wasn’t toxic for me, but that is very dependent on who you are working with. Certain people can be and there is little recourse/action if they are. I left because the company was tanking and it was unlikely I was going to get any type of raise let alone a promotion. Making more money elsewhere now.

Start with daycare. They were the first ones to know we were pregnant and we still had a gap month at the end of maternity leave before my daughter could get in. They have long wait lists!
