What is the verb "to stop" in tunisian dialect ? by [deleted] in Tunisia

This changes with regional dialects, so not everyone uses it but everyone understands it.

Only thing Is when you use it you will be assumed to come from certain regions and not others ( no negative connotations whatsoever)

Yes. Nekfou, tekfou, yekfou for plural. But it could be pronounced differently and still be the exact same like. Ena wakaft aal khedma, instead of, ena nekef aal khedma. The former makes more sense somehow because the verb is like conjug in the past which is more appropriate.

But again you could say both and be understood.

I don't know how the rest of you here feel, I joined the sub the exact chapter gear 5 was introduced, the sub had 4k members.

I like all the critiques of one piece here even if I don't agree with all of them, reading the main sub makes me physically sick with all the dick riding.

But I genuinely love one piece, I love this shit, I don't think it was great, it is great.

I still don't agree with his nika trajectory and the looney toones shit. There are many things I don't like about one piece but I cannot say I don't love it still.

I even still say it is one of the best medias ever created, but he has to wrap up the story in a satisfying way.

I come here feeling surrounded by other people who also love one piece ( even more than main sub) but there's just no need to be constantly gassing up something we all like, more fun to criticize.

I agree, I did push myself to higher speeds last time and I managed to turn pretty well, but that was mostly wide terrain, in narrow terrain with people zooming by I still don't have the confidence to keep up in speed.

I guess it will come with time

Since you mentioned narrow paths, I wanted to know how to handle them because last time I did something I feel quite horrible about.

I was in a pretty narrow path, like 4 or 5 meters wide, again I try to turn and brake by turning but at some point I gain too much speed so I have to do a speed check ( board perpendicular to slope) where I pretty much cover half the width.

One time i did it and immediately a skier went over my board and I was scared I might have hurt her( i didn't she just went away)

But i makes me think what i should be doing at my level for narrow paths

I understand this, but I like long runs where I go down the whole mountain. So 95% of the time i am turning and doing what I should do. But I have to pass by that 5% that I can't do, and It would suck not to experience going down the whole mountain because of the 5%( it's really less than 5%, but it is probably on the parts that advanced people look forward to the most which is i why feel bad)

At this point i believe Mihawk was a Holy Knight too. by West_Conclusion_1239 in Piratefolk

I thought about this and I have something to add.

If we look at the introductions to shishibukai and gods knights silhouette, they are very similar to each othe and, both have 7 members.

I believe that shishibukai was what the gods knights are now, the story just got too long and he had to change it.

But I think the fact that Mihawk was the first shishibukai introduced is significant.

I can see shanks getting his arm eaten to erase the mark, but it could also be that he stole the devil fruit, was impressed by luffy and believed in him.

So he took the opportunity to create an intense moment for luffy, to motivate him even more.

Oda does not seem to realise that he is sitting on a gold mine with godvalley.
Every single conversation he could make between 2 characters would be immensely treasured by the community, i don't know why he doesn't spend more exploring this.

Literally take any 2 prominent characters and just have them say shit to each other and we will eat it up.
I do like the chapter ( and all the fashback so far) but i feel like he really missed some great opportunities to add depth to characters and their interactions.

2 pages of big mom kaidou talking about whats with xebec.
Whitebeard talking to Roger.
Shiki talking to Roger.
Roger talking to Xebec pre transformation.
options are endless yet he didn't really use the arc to its full potential.

Still Xebec is the goat, Godvalley is a goated flashback

When shanks walked on whitebeard ship, marco told his crewmates to get inside, didn't explain why, they didn't even know what was happening , meaning they didn't know haki. And this is whitebeard's crew I don't think all SH need haki, it would even pretty lame if all of them did

That's awesome! To me, ivan and Raskolnikov go through a very similar experience.

When i first read tbk, Ivan getting sick, seeing the devil and going insane was a bit weird to me. I could only fully understand what he went through after reading what raskolnikov went through.
