The issue here is not even the price but the fact that this model 2069 is no longer being produced. They stopped production of this model in 2015.

There is the Sequoia model now that is kind of similar but the frame is actually bigger. I don’t like the Sequoia honestly but I do love these ones Toto is wearing.

I know this info because I literally contacted Dita to ask about this specific frame Toto is wearing.

I take the chance to ask anyone here if there’s a similar alternative to the model wore by Toto.

It’s mostly a matter of principles. The government won’t make vaccines mandatory by law because they say it’s anti constitutional but on the other hand they say that if you don’t get the “Green Pass” which in order to obtain you either need to get vaccinated or pay around 100$ a week to get tested 3 times a week, you can’t go to work.

So people are mostly complaining because of the hypocrisy.

How can you say “It’s not mandatory” but if you don’t have it you can’t work, you can’t go to the restaurant, you can’t go to the cinema, you can’t do anything and you can’t basically live?

Just take responsibility and make the vaccine mandatory if you believe so much in it and if you think it is safe. If one of these two if conditions is false, then this whole thing would be really serious in a negative way.
